What’s on in Glasgow – Southside Fringe
What’s on in Glasgow? Southside Fringe Festival | Glasgow | 8th – 24th May 2015
The Southside Fringe is focused upon providing a fortnight of quality opportunities for acts, performers and musicians.
Southside Fringe also hope to involve as many venues and businesses as possible to boost existing custom over the fortnight and to raise the profile of the Southside on the arts landscape and draw new customers, visitors and audiences to the wonderful facilities the Southside has to offer.
Music highlights for this year include: their first Fringe Ceilidh, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Circus, a workshop with Jazz Choir Scotland at Loks, Folk At The Fringe in The Old Barn, Pollok Park, plus Hip Hop Night and an all day Musical Marathon at Jayz Bar.
The Southside Fringe cabaret calendar is bursting at the seams this year, check out the nationally loved Dr Sketchy’s Anti-Art School, and get your tea cups ready for prohibition with The Gatsby Speakeasy. Don’t miss the Southside’s beloved Creative Martyrs two evenings in The Bungo-Lo and a very special Fez show for all ages at Battlefield Gardens.
Plus the return of the Pastaval event in a variety of venues on Saturday 23rd, joined by three extreme eating challenges at the Brooklyn Cafe 15th, 16th & 17th May.
